AIST Student Project Presentation Contest

The “Student Project Presentation Contest” will take place at AISTech each year. The Association for Iron & Steel Technology invites undergraduate engineering students to participate.

Criteria – All undergraduate students who have completed a project or paper may register to participate in this contest.  The topic of the project is unlimited but should be technical in nature.  Extra points will be given to steel related topics.  Students will be assigned 15 minute sessions each to present their project. Participants will be judged on:

• Overall knowledge of project topic
• Thoroughness of the content
• Presentation skills

Prizes – Each participant will receive $300 toward travel expenses, and the presentations receiving the top scores will receive cash prizes, $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $500 for third place.
